Hands-on Courses for Busy Teams

Your teams are busy. That’s why most of our courses are short.

You can complete them in a day or two. And they are packed with real-world examples from Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects.

Team Coaching

1. YOUR SCRUM SQUAD

Get Scrum Working For Your Teams. Fast.

You’re not a traditional software development team. Your customers come to you with a budget. And they need you to deliver the project within a budget.

You signed up for a traditional Scrum course. Perhaps you’ve taken some courses from Microsoft. But you’re unhappy. That’s why we created the Successful Scrum for Microsoft Business Apps course.

In this program, your teams will:

Learn the theory, accountabilities, events and artefacts of the Scrum framework.

Discover proven practices for applying Scrum to Power Platform and Dynamics 365 apps.

Be prepared to achieve Scrum certification with Scrum.org (with our exam pass guarantee).

2. ACE YOUR ESTIMATES

Better Estimates. Happier Customers. (Happier Teams)

Your business development and pre-sales teams have won a new project. Congratulations! But your delivery team isn’t happy. They reckon the timelines are completely unrealistic.

“There’s no way this project can be completed in such a short time”, they say. You have a problem. That’s why we created the Estimating Business Apps course: so that you never run into this problem ever again.

The problems created by using time-based estimates, and a better alternative to estimating in hours or days.

How to estimate requirements quickly and accurately (so your sales and project teams stop fighting).

How to estimate and pitch projects (including ones with fixed-scope, fixed-price, and fixed-dates)

3. TEAM COACHING

Accelerated Mastery for Your Sales and Delivery Teams

Your business development and delivery teams have grasped the principles of Scrum and agile delivery. But challenges arise putting it into practice. They settle for the worst of both worlds: a ‘hybrid’ approach. The benefits of agility are never fully realised.

In situations like this, your team needs a coach who has walked this path many times before. Who can walk in their shoes. Ask them the right questions so they uncover the best answers for their situation.

Drawing on 15 years’ experience winning and delivering hundreds of agile Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps ($100m+), we offer coaching programs tailored to your Microsoft partner business.

We can help. From a single session addressing your entire team’s questions or a series of sessions to uplift their agile capability.

What Microsoft Partners Say

ITK delivers most of its case management solutions following an agile and Scrum methodology. From my perspective, I learned some of the challenges that they’re experiencing and educating their clients during the prospecting phase, all the way through to final contracts. And as a result, we’ve already changed the way that we’re pitching solutions and the underlying contracting model.

I would certainly recommend Neil’s masterclass to other sales and marketing professionals. Half the battle in selling is educating clients and prospects on new ways of working, new products, new approaches. So having a solid facilitator, like Neil, along with a number of other partners who are facing similar challenges brings together a really dynamic group to brainstorm and produce best practices to selling agile projects.

I would recommend Winning Agile Projects really to two groups of people. Anyone involved in the presales process – sales, marketing, presales solution architecture, any of those people – it makes a lot of sense to take this course. Also the consultants, the project manager, the architects, anyone involved in the initial setup of a project.

I think it would make the lot of sense to align on the messaging and the how statement of work documents and that kind of thing are built. What makes sense to go into them? I think when you’re taking a new project on some of that knowledge would really help. And, of course, having a master at Microsoft Business Apps who is also a master at agile and Scrum in your corner, someone like Neil, it’s hard to put a price on, but certainly well worth the sticker price of this course.
